Mechanical products, towing and road escort services in Bowen Basin

Gary Coombs and Eileen Sampson-Coombs founded  “Coombs Associated Road Services” in the Lockyer Valley in QLD, in 2001. Over the next 10 years, they expanded into towing as well. 

In 2010, when they found that much of their pilot escort world was originating in Nebo and the Bowen Basin, the locals called in for a towing service to be located in Nebo to ensure a quicker response to accidents along the Peak Down Highway. Gary and Eileen relocated their towing equipment to Nebo and started Nebo Towing Services. The fleet that they bought with them from the Lockyer Valley is six roadside assistance contracts. In 2011, a fifth roadside assistance contract was added and in 2012 Garry and Eileen took on the RACQ roadside assistance and towing contracts for the Nebo Region. 

The need for type service and a shop front in Nebo lead to Gary and Eileen acquiring a shop in the industrial area – 8 Saleyard Drive, Nebo, QLD, 4742. 

Nebo Motors supplies batteries, automotive parts and accessories, lawn mower parts, safety equipment including boots, shirts, jeans.
